A new entry to the specialty coffee market in Sydney opened in Circular Quay this week.
Combining world class coffee with expertise from the Canberra coffee shop, Espresso Room, the new cafe is set to raise the bar for Sydney coffee offerings.
The Espresso Room is located in the new Gateway Building in Loftus Street, Circular Quay and, like its Canberra namesake, is using coffee sourced and roasted by ONA Coffee, the company owned by the 2015 World Barista Champion, Sasa Sestic.
Baristas trained by Sasa are at also at the helm, themselves training new staff to ensure every cup is delivered the way it should be. Michael Rose, owner of the new venture, said he is excited to be entering the Sydney market. With a string of Canberra cafes to his name, Michael knows how to provide a unique cafe experience.
With a string of home-made, gluten free cakes on offer alongside croissants and sandwiches, coffee breaks for the new office workers above are destined to become world-class time stoppers.
