Bel & Brio brings a unique dining and shopping concept to Barangaroo.
Bel & Brio consists of five distinct areas that cater for all your foodie needs.
Start your day with a caffeinated hit from Coffee & Co. Open for breakfast and throughout the day, Will & Co’s coffee will provide the perfect morning pick-me-up with an extensive pastry selection and full breakfast menu.
Lunch and dinner offerings are available from the bar and dining area where authentic European share plates are on offer. Bel & Brio has pulled together a strong team of industry experts across food and drink, including Co-Executive Chef Andrea Assenza – a Sicilian-born chef with extensive experience in creating accessible European menus in restaurants in Europe and Asia. Vanessa Martin, formerly head chef and owner of hatted Italian Il Piave, also joins the team as Executive Chef.
Traditional slow-cooked lamb ragu with lemon ricotta ravioli is the perfect lunch time treat, while thoughts of crispy pork belly with braised fennel and orange salad will keep you going until it’s time to indulge for dinner. The perfect pairing for any meal can be found in the extensive wine store and cellar.
Curated by Jon Osbeiston, one of Australia’s most respected wine experts and retailers, the cellar features more than 2000 wines, making it one of the largest independent stores in Sydney. Staying true to Beli & Brio’s European influences, there are plenty of offerings from Italy and France as well as Australian favourites.
Cocktails are taken care of by experienced mixologist, James Snelgrove. James spent 12 years working in Sydney’s bars, including Bentley Restaurant and Bar, Ms G’s and Button. Let him whip you up anything you desire from seasonal delights including the ‘not tiki’ with rum, cold-pressed passionfruit and pineapple, local honey, mint, lemon juice and bitters, or a classic like the ever-popular negroni.
Busy workers in Sydney’s CBD turn to Bel & Brio’s eatery for fresh take-away meals that are prepared daily. When there’s no time to cook, you can rely on the selection of rotisserie meats, paninis, traditional pizza al taglio and home-made pastas to keep you well fed. There are no hidden nasties to be found – fresh produce is sourced from Bel & Brio’s Central Coast farm, The Farm at Kulnura. Located near Peats Ridge, the farm is completely chemical free and supplies Bel & Brio with a range of seasonal vegetables. Pasture-raised eggs are provided by 3,000 chickens who happily roam and forage freely around the farm.
As well as featuring throughout the menu, you can also pick up the farm’s fresh produce at the marketplace. Whether you’re after pantry staples, household essentials, fresh produce, specialty culinary products or even fresh flowers, you can find it all at the market place.
Renowned restaurant designers DS17 were charged with the responsibility of creating the unique and expansive space. Inspiration was taken from the great food halls of Europe where classical, elegant materials have been used to complete the 800-square-metre emporium.
Bel & Brio truly is one of a kind. With everything you need under one roof, why go anywhere else?
